A quick housekeeping note to my blogging, research-doing, cross-posting sisters and brothers:
Linking to something I have written or photographed = Swell
Quoting a brief excerpt of something I have written, and then linking to the rest = Fair enough
Copying and pasting (or reprinting) something I have written or photographed in its entirety without asking me if it’s cool first = Irritating, and asking for the smackdown
I’m all for sharing the digital love. I don’t bite, honest — unless bitten first. Just leave me a comment, and let me know who you are, your reasons for wanting to repost, and where, and in most cases, I’m cool with it. If I’m not OK with it, you’ll know.

And, in other news, introducing Twice the Rice: The Domain, at twicetherice.com. Yes, that’s right, folks. Same great-tasting blog, sexy new URL — now with extra logic.Don’t bother changing your links and bookmarks if you currently have http://twicetherice.wordpress.com squirreled away somewhere. The new domain merely redirects here. It’s just that it’s so nice and pretty, I had to share.
OK. Resume normal blog-surfing routines/workday pantomime … NOW!

I agree!
Does wordpress provide the new, easier to remember, more user friendly URL, or did someone set up the domain for you?
Yup, I hear ya and congrats on domaindom.
I claimed the domain more than two years ago, but just recently got around to configuring the thing to redirect. Not sure why I sat on it for so long, but ta da! It’s heeeere.
oh my, which idiot copied your stuff repeatedly?
Cool, I was just wondering.
damn it it looks like i’m going to have to close Thrice the Rice down.
Hyuntae: LOL! Now don’t go giving anybody any bright ideas…
Mungyo: No repeat offenders yet. I’m considering the multiple (but isolated) occurrences that came to my attention last week as first offenses. But repeat offenders will pay. Oh yes. They shall pay.
YAY for a domain!
Why must it redirect!!!?? lol. LOVE it though.
